The Truth About Snap On Veneers

Our smile is really important.  It is what we use to put others at ease.  A smile is a way to show you are friendly, happy, positive, poliete, etc.  So, who doesn’t want a perfect smile?  I was lucky enough to not need braces growing up.  However, I can see imperfections that don’t really warrant thousands and thousands of dollars to fix.  I thought Snap On Veneers sounds like a great solution.  It is only about $100 plus shipping.  That sounded like a more reasonable solution for me, personally.

I should have remembered the saying “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”  I made an order online for both top and bottom veneers.  I wish I was smarter and got just the top to make sure I was happy with my purchase.  But no, I went all in.  I even paid an extra $25 for fast shipping.  This ridiculous amount for fast shipping promised the order arriving in 5 to 7 days instead of several weeks.  This seemed odd.  The item doesn’t even weigh half a pound.  They are in the United States and somehow the shipping would cost $25? Not even overnight shipping should cost this much.  At the time, I was excited and overlooked the red flag.

Almost immediately I started receiving text messages several times a day advertising what I had already purchased.  Now I am getting advertisements for a better, custom version after paying full price for what they advertise on their website.  Are they expecting me to order again from them after being tricked into ordering their standard item?  Why wasn’t this option given when I was making my order on their website?  Really bad business.

I watched the mail everyday.  After two weeks had passed and I still hadn’t received my order I was really getting nervous.  I did pay $25 for expedited shipping.  I tried writing to them more than a couple times without ever receiving a response.  Again, really bad business practices.  All the while, I am still getting ads several times a day from the company advertising what I had already purchased and better option of my purchase.  I tried to opt out from their text messages and emails wityhout success.  I still to this day continue to get their ads.

Finally, several weeks after my purchase I finally receive a package from them.  I noticed it was sent first class, just as it would normally have been.  I guess faster shipping is just another way to rip you off.  That realization does not compare to my disappointment and anger after seeing what they sent me.

I received the exact same thing you get when you buy As Seen On TV Veneers, which only costs $10.  It is a joke.  I don’t know anybody with a mouth and teeth big enough to fit this in their mouth.  Plus, even if it did fit, the cheap plastic without any separation between any teeth look so ridiculously fake I thought it was some kind of bad gag gift.  I was so angry when it was what I was charged over $100 for plus faster shipping.

I had thought a company who makes one thing must do a good job.  Their whole business plan is making and selling these to customers.  I can’t believe they are so dishonest and just ripping off every customer they have.  I guess they are just trying to rip off as many people until they are sued or go out of business.  I think they should be arrested.

Of course, I wrote to the company and requested a refund so I can send these back to them, including a refund for faster shipping that I did not receive. I never got a response even after several times writing to them.  The only response I got was more ads sent to my email and text messages sent to my phone.

I am hoping to prevent people from making the same mistake I did.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM!!! These are dishonest scammers looking to take advantage of anybody they can.  I am going to inquire about a Class Action Lawsuit, but I won’t be holding my breath.
