This is absolutely amazing. Â I am a big Dermalogica fan and have been for at least fifteen years. Â What I love most about this amazing procedure, is the instant gratification of improvement. Â This is a five step process and a series of six peels are recommended, although some people might need more. Â There is said to be at least an 80% improvement after completing the six peels. Â I would say that from all the people I have seen do this peel, in my opinion, I think the results are even better.
When I get a peel, it is a big pain to have to rearrange your schedule to be hiding as your skin peels off. Â I can do computer work but I am far from looking my best as huge flakes of dead skin are shedding. Â I would not allow any clients to see me in this state. Â Not to mention, tot totally avoid the sun is hard to do. Â With the new skin on the surface, it is even more important than ever to protect the delicate and sometimes raw skin from any sun. Â Sunscreen can only do so much. Â Of course, if it is unavoidable to have to battle the sun's powerful and damaging rays, the strongest sunscreen you can find is a necessity. Â You should also wear a hat.
However, with this peel, I personally don't really have any downtime. Â My skin does peel and reveals a new layer of skin. Â However, with the instant results at the end of the process of each peel, instead of depriving my skin of the moisture which would prevent it from peeling, this process requires it. Â This peel is supposed to work with the skin as opposed to against it. Â So I don't ever have observing peeling happening, so I can go right back to my life after the process (after applying sunscreen and finding a hat to wear). Â I do avoid going outside as much as possible. Â The only thing I need to include in my schedule is the actual time for the peel.
Another amazing thing that this peel has that many others don't is this peel can be used on my neck and closer to the eyes than any other peel I have seen. Â I am always afraid of my neck not looking the same age as my face. Â This peel helps both instead of just my face, making any imperfections in my neck more noticeable.
This peel is one of the lighter peels and does not go as deep as others. For a peel light enough to be applied to your neck and closer to eyes than I am used to, it sure is worth it's weight in gold.
This peel is light enough, I recommended it to somebody in their late 80's to help them get rid of their age spots. Â The first peel made an 70% improvement. Â I would recommend it to anybody 20-90 years old. Â You really can't go wrong.
